Founded on April 6, 1939, in the historic San Lino neighborhood of San Ignacio, Baja California Sur, the San Ignacio California Fishing Production Cooperative Society S.C.L. has emerged as a pioneering force in the fishing sector. Established under the General Law of Cooperative Societies of 1938, it started with just 45 members. Over the course of more than 80 years, this organization has evolved into a benchmark for excellence in the capture, processing, and commercialization of high-quality marine products.

Today, the cooperative boasts a robust team of 150 members, which includes 82 active partners and 68 dedicated employees.
